How will you guarantee the quality of my diamond?

All diamonds of 0.30 carat and above come with an independent grading certificate to prove the quality of your diamond. We only supply stones that have been inspected and certified by one of the following internationally recognised grading labs : GIA, HRD and IGI. For more information on certificates click HERE Beware of some companies selling diamonds that have been graded by labs with lesser reputations as these diamonds are often of inferior quality and grade and therefore do not carry the same value.

Is the M.A.D logo stamped inside the shank of the ring?

The M.A.D logo you see inside the rings on the images and videos on the site is for display purposes only and is to protect the copyright of our images. Your ring will only be stamped with the appropriate hallmark from the Assay Office.

When will my order arrive?

All our jewellery is hand made to order by our experienced goldsmiths and diamond setters with delivery usually within 14 working days from receipt of order. To keep our prices so competitive we source diamonds from Europe, Asia and the USA and so delivery can depend on where the stone(s) is coming from. If however you need delivery for a specific date please CONTACT us and we will do our utmost to meet your requirements. We do also carry a certain amount of rings and diamonds in stock so if you are in a real hurry please call us!

Is there a charge to re-size a ring?

If your ring needs re-sizing at any time in the first six months we will only charge £20 to cover postage and handling.

With a yellow gold ring is the setting in white gold?

Depending on the setting with a yellow gold ring the setting is often white gold. If you look at the image on the product page you will be able to see. We can make the setting in all yellow gold or platinum if required. Please just contact us for details. If a ring is pictured in all yellow we can even just tip the claws with white gold if required.

Can I see the diamond certificate before I receive the ring?
Yes, we will scan and email to you a copy of the grading lab certificate before the diamond(s) are mounted in your ring.
Are all products hallmarked?

Yes, all our products come with a UK hallmark which is your guarantee of the precious metal content of your jewellery. Hallmarking was originally introduced in the 1300`s by a statute of King Edward 1 and is one of the earliest forms of consumer protection.

Do you supply colour or clarity enhanced diamonds?
No, we do not sell any stones that have been artificially altered in any way. Sometimes laser drilling or fracture filling can be used to artificially enhance a stone. These diamonds can still carry a certificate but are of less value than a natural stone.
What level of fluorescence will the diamond have?
Fluorescence is only detectable under strong ultra violet light and does not affect the appearance of a diamond unless it is of strong intensity. We only supply stones with no fluorescence or graded faint or slight. We do not sell any diamonds with fluorescence above this level.
What are conflict diamonds?
A conflict or blood diamond is a stone that is mined in a war zone and sold to fund an insurgency or an invading army’s war effort. We do not under any circumstances sell any conflict diamonds and will only deal in stones from the reputable sources where the provenance of a diamond is certain.

I don’t know my ring size, how can I find out?

The best way to get the correct size is to pop into a local jeweller and have your finger measured. Alternatively we can provide you with a free ring sizer tool by clicking HERE.

The ring is a surprise so what should I do?

Try asking one of her good friends if she can drop the question of ring sizes casually into a conversation.
